About Me

My name is Ryan Nordheimer. I created this account spontaneously at the end of my junior year of college, when my study abroad program in London ended early due to coronavirus. Once back at home, I began trying new recipes and eventually created an Instagram account to show them off. In fact, my account was originally called Quaryantine Cooking as an homage to my prolonged social-distancing situation. That account developed and evolved into this one, a platform that people can use to find delicious, more navigable, and adventurous recipes. I’m not a pro-cook by any means, but I love trying new dishes, cuisines, and techniques—anything to keep me busy! I also have a lot of experience with photography. All of the pictures, styling, and editing are also my work.

Even though a lot of this work is mine alone, I do want to give credit to my mom for being my sous chef and busser.
